Lean Innovation Training (LIT) Tools

Combining the Power of Creative Problem Solving and Lean Six Sigma

Our Lean Innovation Training (LIT) features an amalgamation of powerful Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools with a selection of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) tools. This combination results in an intervention that
  • uses the proven DMAIC project management approach of Six Sigma together with many of Six Sigma tools,
  • adds the suitable Lean tools that apply to projects to solve turnaround-related problems and
  • generates out-of-the-box solutions by utilising creativity tools to boost the novelty of the solution ideas.
The following table compares the utilisation of tools/concepts in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt training and Lean Innovation Training (LIT).
