Performance management today is about helping employees move forward versus assessing the past. And, transitioning managers from the mindset of rating and reviewing performance to the ongoing conversation model can be daunting. Hence, mastering performance conversation is a critical coaching skill set.

Because talking candidly with employees about performance does not come naturally for most managers, this program gives managers the tools and skills to engage in “coach-forward” performance conversations.

Firstly, we start with gaining a clear understanding on how to plan for performance.

Secondly, knowing what to measure helps managers engage in the right discussions. Conversations should energise employees to do their best and improve performance.

Lastly, essential coaching for performance skills are SBI Feedback, Active Listening, Discovery Questioning, Handling marginal performers, Rating errors, Evaluating performance & implementing for success.
